Raw milk
At Butterhide we believe that a healthy diet of natural unprocessed and unrefined foods plays a key role in overall skin health. Whole Raw Milk is unprocessed and complete with bioavailable vitamins, minerals, enzymes, beneficial bacteria, naturally occurring CLA and Omega-3 fatty acids. Some people with lactose sensitivities have found that they're able to consume raw milk products without discomfort associated with pasteurized alternatives in the grocery store. Many states now allow for the sale and purchase of raw milk commercially, but in Ohio, raw milk can only be consumed from a cow that the owner owns. By investing in a "Herdshare," one can become a part owner of a cow herd and have access to the milk they produce. To purchase raw milk, one must first buy into the farmer's herd and sign a contract. The "per gallon" fees are accounted for herd management/boarding, bottling, handling, etc., rather than for milk itself.
